Linklaters has signed an agreement to relocate its Luxembourg office in June 2028 to a bespoke, state-of-the-art building in the Luxembourg’s leading business district of Kirchberg.
The new office, located close to the current Avenue J.F. Kennedy premises, will provide 5,468 square metres of flexible, modern space for Linklaters teams and clients. This move will keep the firm in the heart of Luxembourg’s financial community and support its next phase of growth.
Developed by BPI Real Estate Luxembourg on the site currently occupied by BGL BNP Paribas, the building sets new benchmarks for sustainability and innovation. With a pioneering timber structure – one of the first of its kind in Kirchberg – it is designed to meet top international standards for energy efficiency, sustainability and wellbeing, including BREEAM, DGNB, LCBI and WELL Building Standard certifications. The thoughtfully landscaped campus and excellent transport connections will ensure an accessible and inviting environment for all.
The new office will be developed specifically for Linklaters, with facilities and a workspace tailored to how its people work today and in the future. The building’s striking architecture will embody the quality and ambition of the firm while fostering collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing.
Nicki Kayser, Managing Partner of Linklaters Luxembourg, commented:
« I am delighted that we will continue to enjoy a prime, central location – a key factor for our visibility and ongoing success. After almost 23 years in our present building, this marks the beginning of a new chapter for all of us. Our new office, developed with sustainability at its heart, sets the stage for the next exciting phase of development and achievement at Linklaters in Luxembourg. »
Arnaud Regout, Managing Director of BPI Real Estate Luxembourg, added:
« We are pleased that Linklaters, a leading global law firm, is reaffirming its commitment to Kirchberg and has chosen our site in particular. Following KPMG Luxembourg, they are the second major player to join our large-scale redevelopment project, which offers outstanding buildings in this prime location. Their decision highlights the lasting and strategic appeal of the plateau. We look forward to welcoming more leading businesses. »
